Which circuits need a type A device, how many RCDs a home needs and how to share the circuits between them.

Start with the circuit

Every choice begins with what the circuit feeds: its load, the cable already in place and the room it runs through. Write them down before you choose a single part.

Check the standard

Ratings, cable sections and IP ratings are set by the wiring rules of your country. When in doubt, a qualified installer has the last word.

  • Note the load of every appliance on the circuit.
  • Match the protection to the cable, not the other way round.
  • Keep the instructions and the invoice for the guarantee.

Order it all at once

Put the whole job in one basket and ask for a quote: we check that nothing is missing before it ships.

The right part, the first time.
